Building Specifications

Sub Structure

• Pressure treated 4x4 Runners under all buildings.

Floors

• 2x4 joists spaced 16" on center (14' wide standard 2x6 joists), covered with 5/8" untreated plywood

Sidewalls

• 2x4 studding spaced 16" on center, covered with a high quality siding.

Roof

• 1/2 inch, plywood sheeting, roof underlayment, covered with 25 year IKO shingles.
• Shingle Colors: Dark Brown, Light Brown, Black, White, Estate Gray, Driftwood, Green. (Architectural shingles available.)

Décor

• Buildings Primered and painted in a choice of eleven colors: Clay, Charcoal Brown, Stoltzfus Tan, Barn Red, White, Hunter Green, Cape Cod Gray, Black, Belmont Blue, Cream, Navajo White

Delivery

We will deliver to your prepared site. However, if site is inaccessible to our truck and we must return with shipment, an additional transportation cost will be charged. Arrangements can be made to check your sight for $25 up to 30 miles; $50 over 30 miles. Customer is responsible for access, site preparation and foundation preparation.

A 4" gravel base is recommended for all buildings although a concrete slab is also fine.

If a block foundation is preferred over gravel the driver will set it on block for the fees below.  We do not recommend a block foundation for any size over a 10x14.

$75 to set an 8 wide, $100 for 10 wide on block (block included) with maximum of 4, 4" blocks, not to exceed 8" in height. Structures placed on blocks cannot be any larger than a 10x14 or warranty will be void. Cost for extra block used. $5 per block.

Set Up

Set up is free if building is set on a prepared level site. However a $50 per hour fee will be charged if driver has to cut trees, branches, remove fences etc.

Or level an un-level pad prepared by owner or contractor other than Helmuth Builders Supply Inc.

This fee also applies if building is delivered on any access road not maintained by city, state or county.

Changes

Any changes made to original invoice must be made within 48 hours. There will be a charge at Helmuth Builder's Supply, Inc.'s discretion, for any changes made to building after building is in production.

Cancellation of order is subject to a 5% restocking fee and money to be refunded only after sale of building.

Local Ordinances

Customer is responsible for all permits, local codes, zoning, etc.

Customer will be charged an additional fee for any out of state permits.
